COVID-19 Resources for Families

The Butte 4-C's is available to help during this challenging time. We are taking calls, responding to email, and checking our drop box on the south side of the office. Our office is open to the public with the recommended health and safety precautions in place. This page has resources for families and children. COVID-19 Special Circumstances Scholarship for Families

The COVID-19 pandemic has created unique challenges for Montana's families working to balance professional responsibilities, child care, and changes to schooling. A scholarship is available to help parents offset the costs of in-home care for children aged 0-18 who live in a household with a special circumstance.

The scholarship offers a flat award of $4,000 per eligible family, nothing more and nothing less. This award is to be used for in-home care expenses or in another provider's home, such as that of a family member, friend, or neighbor who is providing unregulated care for the child(ren). This scholarship must be awarded and spent by December 31st, 2020, and available first come first serve based on available funding.


To Apply:

  1. Determine which Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) agency you need to apply through

    • Butte 4-C's serves Butte-Silver Bow, Madison, Granite, Anaconda-Deer Lodge, Beaverhead, and Powell counties in Montana.

  2. Review eligibility criteria HERE

  3. Complete scholarship application (click below)

  4. Submit your application and W-9 to the Butte 4-C's at 101 N. Main St. Butte MT, 59701 by drop off or mail ​​

         *due to sensitive information we will not accept applications by email

COVID-19 Informational Resources 

The Butte-Silver Bow Unified Health Command has opened a call center in response to coronavirus (COVID-19). It is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Members of the public can call the line at 406-497-5008 with questions or concerns.
